3.0 Allied Victory Points
The Allies gain victory points by defeating the Axis. The number of points gained is determined by when the Axis is defeated. The baseline defeat turn is July/August 1945, the historical turn of defeat. The Allies gain 30 points for defeating the Axis on this turn.

For each turn earlier than J/A 45 that the Allies defeat the Axis, the Allies gain an additional 10 victory points. For each turn later than J/A 45 that the Allies defeat the Axis, the Allies lose 3 points.

4.0 Determing Final Victory
Subtract the higher of the Allies or Axis victory point totals from the lower of the two. The result is the margin of victory. Victory accrues to whichever side has the highest point total.

The level of victory is determined as follows:
0 - 10 = Draw (neither side winds)
11 - 15 = Marginal Victory
16 - 20 = Tactical Victory
21 - 25 = Decisive Victory
26 + = Overwhelming victory

5.0 Victory Examples
Included below are some brief examples of how certain levels of victory can be obtained.

Historical:
Historically, the Allies won the game with a 12-point margin of victory. The Axis gained 16 points: 3 points for Oslo and Manila, and 1 each for Antwerp, Athens, Batavia, Belgrade, Kiev, Marseilles, Paris, Rabaul, Saigon, Singapore, Amsterdam, and Warsaw. The Allies gain 30 points for conquering the Axis in J/A 1945.

Thus the Allied margin of victory = 12. A Marginal Allied victory (and almost a draw!).

Banzai in the Pacific:
Here we imagine a situation where the conflict in Europe is historical, but Japan manages to conquer Australia, New Zealand, and take Calcutta. As a result, it takes the Allies until M/A 46 to defeat the Axis.

Axis Point total = 31
Allied Point total = 18
The Axis margin of victory = 13. A Marginal Axis victory.

Overwhelming Russia:
The Pacific is historical, but Germany overran Russia before being pushed back. The counterattack was fierce and drove Germany screaming back out of Russia after a brief summer. The Axis held Leningrad, Moscow, and Stalingrad in addition to its historical targets. It also managed to capture Suez. The Axis was in N/D 45.

Axis Point total = 40
Allied Point total = 24
Axis margin of victory = 16. A Tactical Axis victory.

Successful Sea Lion:
The Axis conducted a 42 Sea Lion and Japan was successful against the CW. The Med was locked up by the Axis. They were able to hold out some time before being defeated.

In addition to historical targets, the Axis held Aden, Gibraltar, Jerusalem, Scapa Flow, Suez, Birmingham, Calcutta, Diego Suarez, Madrid, Canberra, and London. They were defeated in M/J 46.
Axis Point total = 53
Allied Point total = 15
Axis margin of victory = 38. An Overwhelming Axis victory.

Good over Evil:
The Allies manage to hold onto Singapore for the entire game. Other than that, all targets were historical. However, the Axis was defeated by M/A 45.

Axis Point total = 17
Allied Point total = 50
Allied margin of victory = 33. An Overwhelming Allied victory

The Folly of the Sitz:
The Axis took its historical targets, but didn't gain anything else. Meanwhile, the Allies got a little lucky and ended the game a single turn early.

Axis Point total = 18
Allied Point total = 40
Allied margin of victory = 22.
