Symbols on the map should be self-explanatory. Omana is a settlement of Vastallans and is annotated with a heart-and-cross symbol. Roads are in red. Xathixil's Mere is named after a powerful fiend and has a nasty reputation as a place of evil. The ruins overlooking the Mere are said to be the fiend's fortress, cast down in the War of the Gem.
