Bracers of Phandoorl Price (Item Level): 1,500 gp (5th) These thin bracers of adamantine cause all arachnids and snakes (only animals or augmented animals) to suffer a -3 penalty to attack rolls made against the wearer (this is a mind-affecting effect). In addition, the wearer gains a +2 enhancement bonus to saves against webs, poison, and acid. The wearer is also immune to the cowering effect of a flaying rod. Both bracers must be worn to gain the full effects. If only a single bracers is worn, then the wearer gains only a +1 enhancement bonus to saves against webs, poison, and acid and arachnids and snakes suffer only a -1 penalty to attack rolls against the wearer. Prerequisites: Craft Wondrous Item, shield of faith |
|
Mind Dulling Dust Price (Item Level): 250 gp (2nd) You can fling this powder, which is found contained in a paper and wood ball, into the air up to 30 ft, and it bursts into a 5 ft radius cloud. Those within must make a DC 20 Will save or be forced to make a Concentration check (DC 10 + spell level) for the next hour. The powder dissipates in the same round it was thrown. This powder is a mind-affecting effect. Prerequisites: Craft Wondrous Item, glitterdust |
|
Ring of the Bat Price (Item Level): 10,000 gp (12th) This ring, which is made of silver with a piece of obsidian in the shape of a bat set into it, can polymorph its wearer into a normal bat 5/day. Each transformation lasts for up to an hour. Prerequisites: Forge Ring, polymorph |
Experience Points: 73,575.
Tirolius' trusted companion is Splinter, a small wooden, dog-shaped construct that bonded with Tirolius in Flupnir's Tower and is now completely loyal to and commanded by Tirolius.
|
SPLINTER CR 7 Magic Immunity (Ex) Splinter is immune to any spell or spell-like ability that allows spell resistance. In addition, certain spells and effects function differently against the creature, as noted below. Fire spells cause half damage. A warp wood spell acts as a slow spell upon Splinter for 2D6 rounds. A wood shape spell negates the slow effect of a warp wood spell and repairs 2 hit points of damage. |
Tirolius was born in 5486 and joined the Heroes when Eracuss sought to hire mercenaries to help the Heroes combat the forces of the cambion Nangir, who was master of the final Flupnir Tower. Tirolius performed so bravely and well in the combat that he was promoted to henchman of Korvar the Warpriest. He then, along with Terraf and Thalonn the Brave, served throughout the Quest of the Gem. While in Flupnir's Tower on the Lost Isle, Tirolius met and befriended his lifelong companion Splinter, the doll golem. By Flupnir's grace, the golem has bonded with the charismatic Tirolius and the two are now famously paired and rarely separated in combat. Tirolius also wielded the Flupnirian weapon Changeling for quite some time before giving it over to the Scion of Orcus in his final battle against Demogorgon.
Tirolius is tall and quite handsome, with a soft-spoken manner and a devastating smile. He is a loyal soldier who takes adversity in stride and he admires Korvar more than any other person in the world and willingly serves as his cohort and right hand. Tirolius is responsible for the military affairs of Korvar's Canton and is also a general in the united forces of Slumber.
