Born: 5486
Born of humble beginnings in the mountains of Onlor, Morg was a reticent young mountain man thrown into the center of great events by circumstances beyond his control. His tale is one of someone taking what life throws at him and completely mastering it until it appears, in the end, as if he had forged his own destiny.
Morg is the only Hero who survived from the first Maug attack on Algol City in 5504 A.D. until the defeat of the Deceiver in 5514 A.D. During that time, he became arguably one of the most famous heroes in the history of Therra, certainly alongside the great Amorany, and he is regarded as one of the three best fighters of his age.
Morg is supremely confident in battle and it is a rare combat that sees him flee, even to gain a tactical advantage. Armed with his drow-forged bracers of speed, Morg enters battle almost as a blur and is used to pressing his opponents so fiercely that they never have time to even mount an offensive. This is augmented by a trio of powerful magic items bequeathed to Morg by the long-dead elvish hero Hilathinil. These are Alastrurial, his longsword, Gadanil, his armour forged by the goddess Galasiria herself, and his belt of storm giant strength. With these items, Morg combines immense prowess, blinding speed, and earth shaking strength, a lethal triumverate.
Fortunately, Morg is good hearted and fair and slow to anger. He has a firm sense of fighting for the general weal and does not concern overmuch about laws and procedure. He acts on instinct and common sense and these attributes have served him well.
After defeating the Deceiver, Morg settled down to rule a Canton of Slumber. In 5 N.S. he wed his love Avoria and their union has produced 4 children. He has concerned himself with governing since then, as well as attending to his family, but he will still gird his arms and armour and emerge to do battle when a foe of surpassing strength shows himself. Indeed, it was Morg and his cohorts who stormed the fortress of a powerful arcanaloth who had managed to remain on Therra after the banishment by the gods and Morg defeated the arcanaloth single-handedly and mounted its head as a trophy above his throne. The arcananloth has vowed to retrieve his head, for the gesture by Morg is a grave insult to him, but so far Morg has defeated three attempts to retrieve the head.
During his adventures, Morg was possessed by a powerful wolf spirit of the Wolf Rider people. After the fall of the Deceiver, this spirit left Morg's body, but ever after Morg moved quicker than he had before and his eyes still occasionally glowed a feral yellow when a light would shine on them in the darkness.
