The weapon is also intelligent, and has an Int of 14, Wis of 12, Cha of 10, and an Ego of 13. The axe communicates with its wielder by empathy. |

Often mistaken for a dwarf, given his bristling beard, diminutive height, and staunch frame, any dwarven blood Korvar possesses is slight and he is fully human. Korvar was born in 5485 and grew up in Jaggarth and was inducted into the way of the war priest at an early age. He served in many skirmishes and battles with the Army of Jaggarth before being recruited by Jerregobe the White to serve the Council of the Swan. At Jerregobe's behest, Korvar joined with the Heroes of the Gem just after they left Onlor and landed in Vosh-gerr. He then served with the Heroes and was instrumental in helping to complete the Quest of the Gem. Korvar was slain in battle by a balor but managed to be resurrected by the grace of Vastalla. He then used his famous axe Azuredge, given to him by the dwarf King Khyzamil of the Ironaxe Clan, to sunder the Essence of Evil which lay beneath the eaves of the Woods of Terror.
Korvar is unafraid of combat and has shown bravery even far and beyond what most war priests would show. He tends to like to cast his spells before and after combat but is usually in the thick of things mixing it up with Azuredge while a battle is in progress. Korvar is also highly devoted to fairness and the cause of good, but as with all Aghorriti, he has been known to give honour to a fallen foe even if the foe was of less than pure reputation.
Since ascending to the throne of his Canton of Slumber, Korvar has mustered, trained, and commanded the Army of Slumber and has led his forces personally against foes in the Blanthil Forest at the request of Princess Imerika. He commands a personal elite guard of Aghorriti fanatics who serve him unquestioningly. This force numbers in the hundreds and includes many warriors of experience and renown.
