As head of the Brotherhood of the Rose and ruler of a Canton of the Kingdom of Slumber, Eracuss has access to almost any arcane spell of 5th level or lower that is not from his barred schools of magic. In addition, he has access to all arcane conjuration spells of 6th level. These are in addition to the spells he carries in his personal spellbooks above.

When this block of incense is burned, it forms a cloying cloud of pink haze in a 100 ft radius. Anyone entering the mist must succeed on a DC 17 Will save or fall into a state of incredible lust for an hour. During this time, those affected want nothing more than the satiate their carnal desires, and will do so as readily as possible, including relaxing their standards on species and gender. If a lustful person is attacked or threatened in any manner, he may make a DC 17 Will save each round to emerge from the effects of the incense.

Once a successful save is made, that person cannot be affected by incense of delight for 24 hours.

The incense burns for 4 hours.

Jade Dragon Charm

This item is in the shape of a stylized dragon carved of jade. The dragon is biting its own tail, and its underside is carved with tiny arcane runes. The charm is worn on the wrist, like a bracelet. Used by primarily by the wu-jen of Xydlont, this charm, if worn for a week, confers +1 to the save DCs of any arcane spell cast by the wearer.

Eracuss is the ninth child of eleven (seventh son, counting the two known bastards) of the Lord Baron Alenssi Darius Vidar Du Onlor. Although raised among the privileged and prestigious, Eracuss also spent very little time with his father, whom he loves and admires. Eracuss didn't seem to pick up the swordsmanship skills that had made his family famous, so in time his father sent him to a magical college (seeing in him other talents). Eracuss, however, viewed this as his father pushing him farther away, out of sight, in an attempt to keep him from being an embarrassment to the family. To get even, Eracuss began squandering a good deal of time on strong drink and women, rather than studying.

His irrepressable nature got the best of him and mere weeks before graduating he and some friends from the college went out on a herbalism trip on a magical boat that flies through the air. The herb hunters took the boat far to the northwest and on the way engaged in a drinking binge. Sick to his stomach, and in a drunken stupor, Eracuss toppled off of the flying boat and landed in the heart of the hostile West Mountains.

Fate was with Eracuss, as he met up with Morg, Korvar, and the other Heroes who had teleported into the West Mountains by way of the Flupnir Towers and were now making their way back into civilized lands. Eracuss joined the group and quickly proved himself a puissant mage as he learned spellcasting on the fly by observing the drow and delving into some of their arcane lore.

Eventually returning to civilization, Eracuss joined the Brotherhood of the Rose, a conjurers' guild located in central Jerranq, and rose quickly through its ranks. While travelling with the other Heroes, Eracuss made it his duty to constantly try to prepare the lax kingdoms for the coming war and he was instrumental in arousing the Morakki and making them aware of the dangers to come. His insistance proved valuable when the Morakki armies arrived to help the Free Folk fight their way to Mordasht.

At the Great Council of war held in Bleton in 5513, Eracuss was bestowed the rank of Wizard of the Brotherhood of the Rose and presented with a staff of power. Upon finishing his great quest and defeating the Deceiver, Eracuss was granted the title Magus, which made him head of the Brotherhood. He was also named Archmage of Jerranq and given the staff of the magi and robes of the archmage.

Eracuss is kind-hearted under a rather haughty exterior, but he is fully aware of his deeds, prowess, and station in life and expects other to do the same. He is by all means a good person, and good-hearted, but he can be abrasive, arrogant, and a sot. A great way to anger Eracuss is to deny or defy his magical powers or to denigrate them in any way. The sometimes vengeful wizard has been known to obliterate foes who have belittled his arcane abilities in very flashy and showy ways, often involving spells that result in what can be termed politely as "overkill". Nonetheless, despite his temper, Eracuss is concerned with the greater weal and will sometimes go to great lengths to aid the unfortunate.

Since his ascension to the throne of the one of the Cantons of Slumber, Eracuss has made it his passion to make sure that many of the evil creatures summoned to Therra by the Deceiver return to their own planes.
